Successful course in Huey II helicopter maintenance for international students

The Helicopter School for the Military Forces, at the Air Combat Command No.4, in Melgar, Tolima, the Maintenance Technician and Huey II/ UH-1h helicopter flight crew course was successfully completed by nine Non-commissioned officers from different Latin American countries, who were trained by the Unit's personnel for about 15 days.

This staff was trained in Resources, techniques that enable the maintenance of these aircraft and to be crew members of the same, which will enable them to accomplish missions in emergency situations, not only to save the lives of those who need it most but contribute effectively to help preserve the environment with the use of the crane rescue, Bambi Bucket, handling rescue rope, among other maneuvers.

Finally, thanks to the gradual opening and effective control of all the biosecurity measures implemented, it was possible to carried out this important course that leads to transmit the different techniques, tactics and procedures with which the EHFAA prepares the helicopters crews

Without a doubt, the objective of being a reference and preferential air Force at the regional level is consolidated day by day providing tools to sister countries, leading not only to strengthen their Resources but to contribute decisively in the fight against the different transnational threats.
