The La Nobleza Home for the Elderly Center of the municipality of El Cerrito, department of Valle de Cauca, received an emotional visit and donation of the Colombian Aerospace Force through the Comprehensive operation Section of the Air Combat Command No. 7. The purpose of this initiative was to provide moments of companionship, well-being and support to these people, reaffirming the Institution's commitment to those who need it most.
During the activity, the military shared integration spaces with the users of the Hogar para la Tercera Edad Center, who participated in recreational activities and meetings designed to promote recreation and strengthen ties with the community. These operations seek to accompany older adults, recognizing their value within the social fabric and generating environments of joy and closeness.
As part of the support provided, 1,344 diapers were distributed, first vulnerable elements that will benefit 27 older adults of the program. This endowment will contribute to improving the conditions of care and facilitate the work carried out by the staff of the Center, ensuring a dignified accompaniment to these people.
The Colombian Aerospace Force highlights the importance of these activities, especially during the holiday season, when solidarity and support take on an even deeper meaning for communities. On these dates, strengthening ties with citizens leads to bringing well-being, hope and companionship to those facing greater conditions of vulnerability.
