Support to the archipelago of San Andrés continues to be given by the inhabitants of Antioquia

Despite the time, from Antioquia the flame of solidarity with the Islanders who were harmed after the devastating Hurricane Iota which passed through San Andrés, Providencia and Santa Catalina, remains alive.

This week, in an Air Force C-40 aircraft, 5.5 tons of humanitarian aid were sent from Rionegro, including food, non-perishable food, biosecurity items, appliances, furniture, among other items that will be distributed on the island to people who need it most.

After several months of having suffered this hard blow never before seen in Colombia, a large number of families continue without meeting many of their basic needs, that is why different public and private institutions, including the Foundation Generaciones Solidarias and the Colombian Air Force, have safely and quickly arrived there with more than five tons of hope.
