Three members of the Wilson González GAOr died during military operations.

Tres integrantes del GAOR ‘Wilson González’ murieron durante el desarrollo de operaciones.

In the village of Bajo Calima, Buenaventura District, Valle de Cauca department, the criminal intentions of the GAO-r Mobile Column Wilson González, belonging to the GAO-r Structure Jaime Martínez, subordinate faction of Iván Mordisco, were eliminated during the electoral day.

Within the framework of the permanent operation carried out by the Colombian Navy, through units of the Pacific Naval Force, and with information provided by Naval Intelligence, a joint and coordinated operation was carried out with the support of the Colombian Aerospace Force and the Criminal Investigation Directorate and INTERPOL, DIJIN of the Police, against members of the Mobile Column Wilson González, known as Special Forces of the GAO-r Structure Jaime Martínez.

During the operation, there were armed clashes that resulted in three members of the GAO-r killed in the framework of military operations. In the same way, a Navy man was injured, but was assisted in a timely manner, and is currently out of danger.

It should be noted that this criminal structure has been responsible for several attacks against Military Forces units in the Bajo Calima area. Among these facts is the homicide of a Navy infantry man in August 2025, perpetrated through the use of drones equipped with explosives. They have in the same way carried out attacks and acts with explosive devices against units of Navy Infantry Battalion No. 21.

The events were reported in the village of Bajo Calima, rural area of the District of Buenaventura, department of Valle de Cauca, place where these illegal structures were carrying out acts of intimidation and coercion against the inhabitants, as well as the planning of terrorist acts against the Military Forces, with the purpose of disputing the control of illicit activities in the territory, strategic routes of mobility in this region, which are used for drug trafficking and the projection of their criminal expansion by the departments of Valle del Cauca and Chocó; these criminal acts, added to the sustained armed clashes with other illegal actors in the area, have generated anxiety and risk to the communities of the village of Bajo Calima.

In the same way, it was possible to establish that the GAO-r Wilson González, a subordinate faction of  the Iván Mordisco, would have as its objective to destabilize law and order and hit the normal development of citizen participation and the free exercise of the right to vote during the elections in this region of the country.

During the operation, it was possible to confiscate important war items, including five rifles, a machinegun barrel, more than 3000 cartridges of different calibers, grenades, improvised explosive devices and communication equipment; which, were put into custody of the security authorities.
