In the framework of this operation in the village Libano, through search techniques conducted by troops of the battalion of Military Engineers No.30 Colonel José Salazar Arana, belonging to the thirtieth Brigade was found a seedbed with approximately 2,000 bushes of coca.
On the other hand, in the hamlet Nazareth, the soldiers found a laboratory to process coca-based paste; the illegal structure, the precursors, equipment and elements found represent a loss of 6.213.000 pesos to this GAO.
In this year, the National Army, in the thirtieth Brigade, has directly hit the drug trafficking chain with the finding of five seedbeds of coca bushes, and the dismantling of 11 laboratories to process coca base paste.
