Taking into account the difficult situation that the inhabitants of Guainía are going through due to heavy rains and floods, a C-40 of the Colombian Aerospace Force made a new flight in which it transported 13 tons with emergency humanitarian assistance, at the request of the National Risk Management Unit, UNGRD.
The tons of aid from the National Disaster Risk Management System, SNGRD that arrived in this department, are vital for the inhabitants, especially for the inhabitants of the capital city, Inírida, since, due to the floods in its territory, it is not possible to transport by land first necessity elements such as food.
In the same way, Guainía is a territory that is very far of the center of the country and due to the emergency caused by rains, the inhabitants are isolated by land, generating shortages and making it a priority to deliver aid, which makes crews and aircraft the hope for these moments of calamity.
This is how the Colombian Aerospace Force once again demonstrates its high commitment to the regions that need it most and it will always providing all its resources in support of the communities.
