In compliance with the reconstruction tasks of the archipelago of San Andrés, Providencia and Santa Catalina, and following the plans of the National Government, the Colombian Air Force make the Boeing-767 Júpiter available to carry out the transport of technical construction personnel and materials from Puerto Rico and the Cayman Islands to the island.

In an aerial deployment that lasted about 24 hours, the Military Air Transport Command - CATAM, transported more than 28 tons of humanitarian aid, made up of tarps, tents, construction elements and electricity generators, donated by the Agencia Adventista de Desarrollo y Recurso Asistencial- Iglesia Séptimo Día ADRA in Puerto Rico and 11 experts from the Cayman Islands in different areas of construction, who will help in the process of rebuilding the islands.

This requirement, like all that the Air Force fulfills, had all the biosecurity measures and protocols implemented by the institution for the transport of cargo and personnel. In the same way, the fast and effective response of the Colombian Air Force has led to the transportation of more than 565 tons of basic necessities and construction materials to support Colombians who lost everything because of the recent hurricane.

The Colombian Air Force, day and night, still flying, making available its aircraft and crew to reach the country that would be required, in order to bring hope and help to those compatriots who need it most.
