With air support of the Mobility and Maneuver Battalion No.4 and an operational deployment of about 4,000 men security is maintained in the departments of Meta, Guaviare and Vaup茅s.
During the weekend on the occasion of Mother's Day, hundreds of visitors, despite the rains, transit by the main roads of Meta and Guaviare, so, the National Army troops continue permanently doing work on main road routes as part of the operational effort for the protection of Colombians.
An effort that engages soldiers in military operations against drug trafficking, through roads checkpoints, for the strategic assets and rivers.
