The men apparently had been intimidating civilians for several months in the municipality of Paz de Ariporo, Casanare.
National Army troops, in an interinstitutional operation with the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the office of the Prosecutor General of the Nation, in the municipality known as the Montañas del Totumo, in the municipality of Paz de Ariporo, Casanare department, were the two individuals were arrested; they seem to belong to the residual GAO Substructure 28 and would be carrying out extortion and intimidation to the inhabitants of the village, Montañas del Totumo.
During the operation, a mobile phone, a motorcycle and propaganda alluding to the armed group were seized. Those arrested and the material found were given to the authorities to continue with their prosecution process.
