In a joint, coordinated and interagency operation conducted by the Colombian Aerospace Force, the Army, the National Police and the Attorney General's Office, two individuals known as alias Nea and Brayan were arrested in the municipality of Paz de Ariporo, department of Casanare, accused of encouraging drug trafficking, manufacturing and transportation activities in this region of the country.
During the operation, 136 grams of coca base equivalent to 272 doses, 56 grams of cocaine hydrochloride, four cell phones, three grams and different elements used for the dosage of narcotics were found by troops, materials that were put into custody of the authorities.
Through its distinctive air intelligence resources, the Casanare Air Group carried out surveillance and reconnaissance missions, which led to consolidating information for the planning and execution of this operation, effectively participating with the other surface forces.
This result is part of the Joint Strategic Campaign Plan Ayacucho Plus, with which the Military and Police Forces join efforts to weaken illegal activities and directly hit the structures specialized in illegal activities that commit crimes in the national territory. Through this operation, the Colombian Aerospace Force continues to operate in coordination to counter drug trafficking, reaffirming its commitment to the security of the inhabitants of Eastern Colombia.
