The Military Forces have arrested 11 criminals listed as the most wanted.
As part of the Intervention Plan in Buenaventura, within the framework of a joint and coordinated operation of the Colombian Navy, the National Army and the National Police, two alleged criminals who were among most wanted criminals by the authorities were arrested in the Buenaventura Special District.
In compliance with a search warrant issued by the First Specialized Prosecutor's Office, in a house in the locality 12 of Buenaventura, troops of the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) of Buenaventura of the Colombian Navy, of the Battalion of Special Forces No.3 of the Army and the Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) of the National Police, arrested alias Pheme and alias Yuliza, who had arrest warrants of the Municipal Criminal Court of Buga, Valle del Cauca, for the crimes of association to commit crimes for the purposes of extortion, extortion and forced displacement.
These people who are listed in the most wanted criminals by the authorities, would be alleged members of the faction Los Shottas, of the Organized Gang La Local and apparently would be responsible for extortion against different productive groups in the locality 12 of Buenaventura.
Those arrested were put into custody of the First Specialized Prosecutor's Office of Buenaventura for their prosecution.
