Desde Tado, Chocó, fueron evacuados dos militares afectados por mina antipersonal

On a personnel recovery mission, Air Combat Command No. 5, CACOM 5, of the Colombian Aerospace Force, FAC, carried out the aeromedical evacuation of two members of the Colombian National Army who were seriously injured due to the explosion of an anti-personnel mine in the municipality of Tadó, Chocó department.

The evacuation was carried out in a UH-60 Angel helicopter, equipped for the transfer of members of the Military Forces. On board, a team made of a doctor, a nurse and recovery specialists, who provided during the flight the necessary care to stabilize the patients.

The members of the Military Forces were handed over to the medical staff of the Pedro Justo Berrio Battalion, in Medellín. They were taken to a more complex medical center to receive specialized medical assistance.
