Operations to counter activities linked to illicit finances are ongoing in this area of the country.
As a result of the work carried out by the soldiers of the Ground Operations Battalion No. 24, the Eleventh Brigade of the Army and units of the National Police, the arrest of an individual was materialized who was found in possession of 12 packages (12 kilos), with a substance, which by its characteristics would correspond to those of coca base paste.
The operation took place in the village of Morr贸n, municipality of Valdivia, Antioquia. As it could be established, the material would have a cost of more than 38 million pesos.
Through these powerful operations, illicit activities and other criminal phenomena that alter the security conditions in this sector of the Department of Antioquia are countered.
The arrested and the substance found were put into custody of the authorities to continue with the urgent acts and the corresponding judicial processes.
