As part of the reactivation of the Caribbean, this expedition will visit six departments in northern Colombia.

With the purpose of exalting the personality, culture, entrepreneurship, and diversity of the colombian Caribbean, the Navy of Colombia and Caracol Radio made the Voyage to the heart of the Caribbean expedition, during the next few days will tour the departments of Atl谩ntico, Magdalena, Cesar, Monter铆a, Sucre and Bol铆var, where there are activities and social impact tours that led to visualize the processes of development of the communities, as well as the work carried out by the Navy of Colombia, through the Caribbean Naval Force doing work in these departments.

Thus, in compliance with biosecurity protocols, the expedition began in the Golden Gate of Colombia, with the support of the Caribbean Aeronaval Group, the Coast Guard Station of Barranquilla and the Port Authority of the Atlantico Capital city.

During the scheduled tours, the men and women of the Caribbean Naval Force established in the region will announce the tangible commitment of the Naval Institution in coordinating efforts to support vulnerable communities, especially those harmed by natural disasters and the covid-19 pandemic. It should be noted that since 2020, the Caribbean Naval force, within the framework of the San Roque I Plan, continuously carries outs the distribution of humanitarian aid and water supply to the inhabitants of the Caribbean, as well as maintaining the effort in the protection of the environment and the fight against the factors of instability in the region.
