Thanks to the Professional Officers of the Reserve of the First Division, Army distributed a park for the enjoyment of the minors of the sector.
With the objective of providing well-being and new spaces for children and adolescents, soldiers of the First Division of Colombian National Army, in support of the Professional Officers of the reserve, the Battalion of Comprehensive operation N°1, the Municipal Mayor's Office and the people of El Cerrejón, carried out the maintenance and repair of a playground in the El Pilar neighborhood, in Barrancas, Department of La Guajira.
This work was made possible thanks to an investment of 100 million pesos, contributed by the Cerrejón, which led to the total preparation of this ideal space for children in the sector to enjoy the recreation and sports areas of the park.
Through these works carried out by the men and women of Colombian National Army, the link with the inhabitants and private enterprise is further strengthened, with the aim of working to increase a better quality of life for the young people of the sector.
