In the framework of military operations, it was possible the neutralization of a terrorist operation with explosive devices on the road leading from Cúcuta to the municipality of Pamplona, department of Norte de Santander.
Once the area had been secured and the protocols, techniques and tactics had been complied with, troops of the Medium Cavalry Group No. 5 General Hermógenes Maza, units of Colombian National Army carried out the controlled destruction of the explosive device, without generating any losses beyond the preventive closure of the road.
In this way, Colombian National Army continues to carry out operations that contribute to safeguarding the life and tranquility of the communities.
