7 anti-personnel mines, 4 improvised munitions similar to 60 mm mortar rounds, 6 lighting flares, 2 lighting traps, 4 pixelated vests and a Motorola radio were found by troops.
This material would belong to the residual GAO, FARC dissidents, National Coordinator of the Bolivarian Army, Iván Merchán front, who commit crimes in this area of the country.
In the same way, following all the established protocols, an explosives, detection and elimination team of explosive devices of the Rapid Deployment Force Nº 11, a unit a of the Omega Task Force of Colombian National Army, carried out the controlled destruction of this material in the place where it was found.
Through this operation, it was possible to weaken the resources of the threat, neutralize its criminal operations and prevent harm to the inhabitants and the Military Forces.
