Among those arrested is alias Pirata or El Tuerto, allegedly responsible for the murder of the eight missing people in this municipality in April of this year.
After hard intelligence work for more than seven months, in a joint, coordinated and inter-institutional operation, the Omega Task Force of Colombian National Army, the Colombian Aerospace Force, the National Police and the Attorney General's Office, reported the finding and arrest of three members of the support network of the Primera Structure Armando R铆os, of the Manuel Marulanda V茅lez Bloc.
The military operation was carried out in the municipality of Calamar, department of Guaviare, where the members of the Military Forces arrived to realize the arrest warrants of alias Pirata or El Tuerto, alias Yucape and alias La Crespa.
Alias Pirata or El Tuerto, would have been in charge of summoning and transporting the eight disappeared people on the last April 4 and 5, by the Itilla River, to take them to a court martial by order of alias El Indio, to murder them and bury their bodies in a common grave.
In the same way, these three individuals would be in charge of carrying out criminal intelligence to attack the Military Forces; they would in the same way be responsible for transporting logistical, war material, military accessories and food, among others. In the same way, they were in charge of recruiting minors, collecting money from extortion against merchants and ranchers of the municipality of San Jos茅 del Guaviare, El Retorno and Calamar, of the department of Guaviare.
They also had an arrest warrant for the crimes of association to commit aggravated crimes, manufacturing, trafficking and carrying of weapons, ammunition for restricted use of the Military Forces.
With the arrest of alias Pirata or El Tuerto, alias Yucape and alias La Crespa, a direct loss to the support network, illicit activities and territorial expansion of this organized armed group was possible.
