Thanks to a message that the kidnapped man managed to send via WhatsApp to his bodyguard and the quick operation of Colombian National Army, in less than three hours, the rescue was possible.
The rescue took place in the area known as Alto del Chocho, Envigado municipality, in the south of the Aburrá Valley, in the department of Antioquia, where the men and women of the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) of the Fourth Brigade and officials of the Medellín CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Attorney General's Office arrived to free this 43-year-old man.
Once it was possible to find the luxurious house where the Cali influencer was gagged and tied hand and foot, the soldiers and the staff of the Prosecutor's Office entered without raising suspicion, surprising the five kidnappers, who apparently belong to the organized gang La Oficina de Envigado.
These people were armed in the living room of the building, while they were guarding the kidnapped. In an agile way the Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) members managed to neutralize the kidnappers and initiated the search for the man, finding him in a room of the house.
At this time the citizen is in the bosom of his home with his loved ones, while those involved in the kidnapping are in the custody of the authorities, as well as the war material found.
The Military Gaula of Colombian National Army will continue to work in the department to combat the crimes of kidnapping and extortion, as well as taking care of the heritage and freedom of the people of Antioquia.
