- The arrested man is accused of collecting money from extortion against from merchants and residents of municipalities such as Vista Hermosa, Mesetas, Puerto Concordia and San José del Guaviare.
In the last few hours, the Military Forces, in coordination with the Police, as part of operations in the municipality of Puerto Concordia, Meta, arrested alias Negro Chucha, accused ringleader of the finance subgroup of the Jhon Linares group, Jorge Briceño Suárez structure of the Central Staff of the FARC dissidents.
This individual would be specialized in the collection of money from extortion against from merchants in the municipalities of Vista Hermosa, Mesetas and Puerto Concordia, Meta, and in the same way led criminal operations in Puerto Cachicamo and Nueva Colombia, rural area of San José del Guaviare.
Alias Negro Chucha had a valid legal arrest warrant, had an Interpol blue notice against him and will have to answer to the authorities for his alleged responsibility in the crimes of association to commit aggravated crimes, illegal carrying of firearms of exclusive use of the Military Forces and extortion.
The arrested man would have direct participation in the kidnapping and murder of Second Lieutenant Carlos Arturo Becerra Castellanos, in the year 2020, in the municipality of Puerto Rico, Meta. In the same way, he would have participate in the murder of the president of the Communal action Board of the Barranco Colorado village of the same municipality, in the year 2020.
With this important result, the criminal intentions of the structure are hit, directly damaging the illicit economy, which in turn leads to weakening the capacity of the organized armed group that commits crimes in this region of the country. The arrested man was put into custody of the authority.
