After an arduous work of military intelligence, and in an interagency manner with the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Attorney General's Office, it was possible to arrest nine individuals, including men and women, who illegally traded with fuels stolen of the Casanare petroleum plants, damaging the strategic critical constructions of the State. A new type of liquefied petroleum gas seizure is discovered in the region.

In the framework of military operations, and after an investigation work of approximately seven months by the military intelligence on the protection of the critical and economic constructions of the State, troops of the Sixteenth Brigade of the National Army and its Infantry Battalions Ramón Nonato Pérez and Cavalry Guías del Casanare, jointly with the Colombian Air Force, and inter agency with the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Attorney General of the Nation, it was possible to find and completely dismantle a criminal network of theft of fuels and their derivatives in the department of Casanare.

This network operates of the department of Casanare, stealing fuels from production plants and illegally trading them to the departments of Boyacá, Meta and Cundinamarca. In the same way, a new form of seizure is found, because this network in the same way stole liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), a modality never seen before in the region.

Those arrested are nine individuals, including three women, who, after a work of almost seven months of investigation and military intelligence, it was possible to identify and be arrested in flagrante delicto in the departments of Casanare, Meta and Boyacá, more precisely in Villavicencio, Pajarito, Tauramena, Aguazul and Yopal.

An innovative rudimentary supply system used for the loading of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), never seen before, is discovered, consisting of an electric motor, a pneumatic pump, more than 50 meters of hose, a variety of multi-dimensional valves for opening and closing fluids, and several couplings used to link and extend supply lines.

In the same way, there are 14,157 liters of diesel, 165 multi-capacity gas cylinders (10, 20, 33, 40 and 100 kilos), a black barrel with a capacity of 5 gallons, 50 blue barrels with a capacity of 55 gallons, nine barrels with a capacity of 500 liters, five liquid pumping operations (electric pump), and three electronic weighing instruments; in addition, two tank-type vehicles with a capacity of 5,000 liters each were found by troops, for transportation and distribution of liquefied petroleum gas, LPG.

The individuals and the material found were put into custody of the Attorney General's Office, where the process of prosecution and legalization of arrests are ongoing, as well as the expert and urgent acts.
