The arrested would be supporting a structure that sends cocaine hydrochloride and coca paste base to Central America, North America and Europe.
Troops of the Command Against Drug Trafficking and Transnational Threats, with the support of the Third Division of the National Army, carried out an inter-institutional operation with the Attorney General's Office, in which, thanks to the work carried out by the different agencies, four individuals were found, they would serve as support members of the residual GAO Dagoberto Ramos.
At different points of Cauca and Valle del Cauca, specifically in Cali, Florida and Palmira, the troops arrived together with Judicial Police officials to arrest these individuals for trafficking, manufacture and / or carrying of narcotics, association to commit crimes for drug trafficking purposes and links with organized armed groups outlaw.
This result contributes to the institutional control of the territory, thus restoring tranquility to this region, and preventing these individuals from continuing to conduct their criminal operations in the south of Valle and north of Cauca.
Within the framework of the Perseo Plan, the National Army will continue to carry out decisive operations against drug trafficking and ratifying its commitment to maintain the security of all Colombians.
