As part of the Viaje seguro (Travel confident) Plan, the Colombian Air Force is carrying out surveillance missions on the main roads of the department of Caquetá before, during and after the week of school recess.
In order to ensure the free development of travelers in the south east of the country, the crews of Air Combat Command N.6 (CACOM-6) of the Colombian Air Force during this week have made overflights by the main air and river ways of Caquetá, all this in a HUEY II helicopter.
In this way, it is expected to continue carrying out the overflights during this weekend accompanying the return of families entering or leaving the department of Caquetá, the area of responsibility of CACOM-6.
Through its resources, the Colombian Air Force is working to ensure the safety of Colombians traveling during this break activity in the country.
