The Naval Cadet School Almirante Padilla received Rear Admiral James Aiken, Commander of the Fourth Fleet and Naval Force of the Southern United States, in order to strengthen ties for naval military training and maritime and river education.
The visit was chaired by Rear Admiral Norman Iván Cabrera Martínez, Chief of Naval Intelligence, accompanied by of Captain Alejandro Encuentro Durán, Deputy Director of the Almirante Padilla Naval Cadet School, together with military and civilian authorities of the United States Naval Mission.
Through a tour of the facilities of the Naval School, the Deputy director of the Alma Mater of the Navy, accompanied the military authorities of both countries to learn about the Resources of the Center of Research such as simulation, Development and Innovation of Maritime Activities, a tool that strengthens the processes of training and research contributing to the Naval and Maritime Power of the Nation.
“The purpose of this visit is to present the Resources of the Naval School Cadets Almirante Padilla, seeking to establish meeting points for future cooperation projects in terms of science, technology and Innovation with the Navy of the united States, foreseeing the possibility of training and for students exchanges,” said the Captain Alejandro Rueda.
This activity contributes to the international visibility of the Almirante Padilla Naval Cadet School, strengthening the cooperation conducted by the two countries.

You are true professionals, I think the Naval School is absolutely amazing, the grounds are absolutely spectacular, but the most impressive thing I saw today was the absolutely amazing Cadets, as well as the leadership here at the School that is absolutely magnificent. So thank you for receiving me and have a great naval day,” said Rear Admiral James Aiken.
