Joint Command No.2 South West informs:
1. Troops of the Colombian National Army and Navy Infantry Units, in joint operations against drug trafficking, fought members of the residual Organized Armed Group Estructura 6 Columna Móvil Jaime Martínez, in the sector of the Cajambre River, rural area of the District of Buenaventura, Valle del Cauca.
2. As a result of the confrontation, 10 members of the Military Forces were wounded, who were immediately sent to different medical centers in Buenaventura, where at this time they are being assisted and according to the initial medical report they are out of danger.
3. With the support of the Colombian Air Force and the National Police, troops were deployed in the sector to continue the operation against this Terrorist Group.
4. The Military Forces is committed to ensuring security in the territories, dismantling Organized Armed Groups and fighting all drug trafficking links.
