Heroes forever
About the events that occurred this morning, in a rural area of the municipality of Ituango, Antioquia, the Command of the Seventh Division reports:
Soldiers who were protecting the community of the municipality of Santa Lucía, where the old territorial space was located, were attacked with grenades and firearms by those who would be members of the Organized Armed Group, GAO, Clan del Golfo.
As a result, Captain Pedraza Ibáñez John, second Corporal Cano Vélez Carlos and soldiers Pérez Salgado Luis and Ocampo Arcila Dairo were killed.
This Command regrets the murder of our members of the Military Forces, who were in the line of duty.
At the same time, he sends a respectful message of solidarity and condolences to family and partners of our heroes.
The National Army will make the corresponding complaints before the authorities, and in compliance with the principle of harmonious collaboration with the institutions, it will continue to assist in the investigations to find the whereabouts of those responsible.
