After the National Government announced the beginning of stage three of the national vaccination plan against COVID-19 and under the guidelines of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection with Resolution No.588 on May 7, 2021, the General Directorate of Military Health began its first vaccination pilot for active military personnel, within the framework of Operation San Roque II. It should be noted that with the start of stage three, vaccination of the other stages will continue simultaneously.
In this way, the Colombian military forces, through the General Directorate of Military Health in conjunction with its Army Health Directorate, Naval Health Directorate and Air Force Health headquarters, are working on this pilot and continue to conduct in immunization against the Coronavirus, within the framework of the National Vaccination Plan and the San Roque II Plan.
