About 300 people received the heroes of the Fifth Brigade, who brought medical assistance, personal care and other services to the inhabitants.
Soldiers of the Infantry Battalion No.14 Capitan Antonio Ricaurte of the Fifth Brigade, of the Second Division, carried out this weekend an activity to support development with well-being and other health services to the inhabitants of the municipality Barrio Nuevo, in the municipality of Rionegro, Santander.
About 300 people received care in medicine, dentistry, psychology, Pediatrics, gynecology and personal care services. Food baskets and humanitarian aid were in the same way distributed to the community.
This activity, which complies with biosecurity standards, was carried out thanks to inter-institutional work conducted by the National Army, the Municipal Mayor of El Playón, the Universities of the department and the professional officers of the reserve of this unit.
