Thanks to joint operations against Organized Armed Groups conducted by the National Army, the Colombian Navy and the Colombian Air Force, it was possible to capture three alleged members of the Organized Armed Group (GAO) ELN, in rural area of Lloró, department of Chocó.
The individuals captured are alias Samir, alleged ringleader of the Front Guerra Occidental, and who belonged for 15 years to the crime group; alias Marlon and alias Cholo, members of the Front Manuel Hernández and the Front El Boche, of the GAO ELN, who commit crimes in the northwest of the country, in the Andean region and in the Pacific.
Thanks to this operation, in which Colombian Air Force aircraft got involved, it was possible to capture these three individuals, who intended to carry out kidnappings, killings, attacks against the Military Forces and frighten civilians through threats and extortion in the department.
