Prevention activities through the #YoNoPagoYoDenuncio campaign have been decisive for the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group), who daily strengthen their presence in the country in order to get closer and closer to the citizens and issue recommendations for self-care against the kidnapping and extortion of organized armed groups.
During August 2020, through 42 talks on radio stations, 3,441 radio messages, 51 activities of loudspeakers, 1,608 posters, 40,004 brochures, 681 activities of the Presencia Plan, 147 checkpoints and 70 lectures, 1,323 people have trained, informing them the importance of communicating with line 147.
The objective of this special group is to make the community aware of how they can avoid becoming victims of the criminals dedicated to these crimes, who, through deception and intimidation, extort money from merchants, shopkeepers, cattle breeders and the community in general, demanding large amounts of money. Thus, through the activities mentioned above, the permanent attention line 147 is promoted and the campaign #YoNoPagoYoDenuncio
During this campaign, emphasis is placed on situations that put acquaintances or family members at risk, recommending immediate contact with the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) on line 147 where the data of the people providing the information is protected.
