Quibdó. As a result of the heavy operation and constant pressure exerted by the Joint Task Force Titan of the Seventh Division of the National Army, against all crime phenomena, in recent hours, was captured of a dangerous criminal in the department of Chocó
The military operation was carried out in the urban area of the municipality of Quibdó, where soldiers of the military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) in coordination with the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Prosecutor's Office, captured an individual known by "Cholo", an alleged ringleader of a group of common criminality that came hitting the community that resides in the northern zone of the capital city of the department, by means of extortions and threats.
This individual, 32, was part of the criminal group "Los Martillos". He was put into custody of the Quibdó office of the Specialized Prosecutor's Office and will be prosecuted for the crime of aggravated conspiracy to commit extortion.
With this important result, the Joint Task Force Titan continues to demonstrate its work to guarantee the safety and tranquility of all the inhabitants of this prosperous region of the country.
