The individual, who was injured in the confrontation, was evacuated to the city of Villavicencio, in an aircraft of the Colombian Aerospace Force, within the framework of respect for human rights and international humanitarian law.
Troops of Colombian National Army, within the framework of military operations and in compliance with the Ayacucho Plan, engaged a combat against members of the Jorge Briceño Suárez Structure, in the village Los Alpes, municipality El Castillo, Meta.
The military operation carried out by soldiers of the Seventh Brigade led to the arrest in flagrante delicto of a member of the armed structure outlaw, who was injured and was evacuated by air to the No. 2 Air Combat Command and, subsequently, taken to a medical center for specialized care.
The individual and the material found were put into custody of the authority in charge of conducting the respective judicial process.
Colombian National Army is constant in its operation against the residual organized armed group in the department of Meta, with the objective of protecting the civilians, weakening the Resources of the threat and protecting the governability in the Eastern Plains.
