Within the framework of the safety campaign Travel Confident for the long weekend, the Colombian Air Force, of the Casanare Air Group, GACAS, intensifies surveillance and control missions on the roads with the highest mobility index during this holiday season and the beginning of the year in the department of Casanare.
In order to ensure the safety of Colombians on their travels, the Air Force has provided crews and airplanes and helicopters, to monitor in real time the mobility and main tourist sites of the department, as well as checkpoints and patrols on the ground, conducting background checks and inviting civilians to denounce any action of insecurity in the sector that may disturb the mobility and safety of tourists.
This security operation is carried out jointly and coordinated conducted by the Air Force, the National Army and the National Police to provide day and night accompaniment to Colombians who enjoy the festivities of the beginning of the year, in the different municipalities of the region.
In this way the Colombian Air Force continues to work for the Colombian east, using all its Resources in air and ground to work for the safety of all Colombians.
