The Bahamian-flagged Seabourn Quest became the seventh cruise ship of the year to arrive in the San Andrés Islands Archipelago.
Upon arrival, the General Maritime Directorate, through the Port Authority of San Andrés accompanied by the Colombian Navy, Migration Colombia and the Secretariats of Tourism and Health of the Government, among other institutions, made a protocol visit in order to verify the legality in accordance with the provisions of the merchant navy standard.
Later, the cruise ship with 369 crew members and 316 passengers, carried out arrival maneuvers with the accompaniment of the Colombian Maritime Authority that had the boat ARC Isla Tesoro to transfer tourists to boats that brought them closer to the docks of smaller boats, from where they started their tour by the paradisiacal island.
The cruise ship that was leaving Belize, will soon sail to Bocas del Toro, Panama.
The Colombian Maritime Authority will continue to work hand in hand with the different productive groups and regional authorities, to maintain comprehensively safe operations in the country and in this way promote human life at sea and conserve the sea environment.
