1. An explosive device was activated against a mototaxi-type vehicle in which civilian personnel were traveling, in the municipal center of Cartagena del Chairá, department of Caquetá.
2. As a result of this cowardly attack, allegedly perpetrated by the Residual Organized Armed Group (GAO-r) Jorge Briceño Suárez, four people were killed, including a minor.
3. This Command condemns this action, which constitutes a flagrant violation of human rights and is a violation of the international humanitarian law.

At this time troops of the Joint Task Force Omega, in coordination with the National Police, is constantly deployed in the municipality and its surroundings, with the purpose of finding those responsible for this fact. In the same way, Navy Infantry units conduct river control mobility closures on the river.
5. Joint Task Force Omega will continue to carry out operations to neutralize the criminal operations of the GAO-r in this region of southeastern Colombia.
