With this result, 3,500,000 doses will no longer be marketed on the streets of the world.

The illegal merchandise would cost more than 47 million dollars in the international illegal market.

In the operation against the crime of drug trafficking, the Colombian Navy announced the finding of 1,400 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride that apparently belong to a structure associated with the Organized Armed Group, GAO, Clan del Golfo in Bahía Colombia in the subregion of the Gulf of Urabá.

The illegal merchandise was found by Urabá Coast Guard units during a routine visit and inspection procedure, carried out on a rudimentary boat carrying fruit boxes. During the search of the boxes, rectangular packages were found by troops inside, apparently with narcotic drugs.

In total, 88 boxes with 1,400 packages were found by troops, which were transported to the Urabá Coast Guard Station where units of the Technical Investigation Corps (CTI) of the Prosecutor's Office conducted the Approved Preliminary Identification Tests, leaving positive result for 1,400 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride.

It is estimated that the value of this shipment of narcotics on the European illegal market exceeds 47 million dollars that, thanks to the decisive operation of the units attached to the Caribbean Naval Force and the Task Force Against Drug Trafficking No. 73 Neptuno, will not enter the finances of the GAO Clan del Golfo substructures that commit crimes in the Uraba Gulf subregion.

The Colombian Navy will continue to carry out operations that led to counter the criminal operations of drug trafficking organizations, working for the security and tranquility of the country.
