Second Sergeant Henry Andrés Rodríguez Cortés and Private Silvio Yordan Echeverría España are at their places of origin for their last goodbye.
With military honors and accompanied by their loved ones, the last goodbye was said to Second Sergeant Henry Andrés Rodríguez Cortés and Private Silvio Yordan Echeverría España, who lost their while working for the rights of Colombians, during the electoral activity last Sunday.
In the city of Cali, Valle del Cauca, in the facilities of the Marco Fidel Suárez Military Aviation School, with the support of the Third Brigade of the National Army, a posthumous tribute was paid to soldier Rodriguez, who was accompanied by his family and loved ones.
For his part, Private Echeverría was received at the Gustavo Artunduaga Paredes Airport, in the city of Florencia, Caquetá, where we accompanied his family to say the last goodbye, with the support of the Sixth Division of the National Army.
The Omega Joint Task Force once again honors the vocation of these two heroes of democracy, who until the last day of their lives worked to defend the rights of citizens in the departments of Meta and Caquetá. With these actions, the commitment of all the men and women who work daily for the inhabitants in the south-east of the country is confirmed.
