With the intention to continue strengthening the ties of cooperation, General Ramses Rueda Rueda, Commander of the Colombian Air Force, meets with the Director Jeremiah William Urieta Quintero, Commander of the National Service air-sea of the Republic of Panama on 20 and 21 January 2022 in panama City, Panama, in order to address operational issues related to strategies to combat transnational organized crime, especially drug trafficking by air, and strengthen the combined doctrine and interoperability conducted by the Air Forces and Equivalent Services in Central America and the Caribbean.
The geostrategic visit aims to establish guidelines, exchange experiences and knowledge to implement the ZEUS Operation strategy, which will integrate the instruction and training of personnel in air defense systems, the deployment of combined interception operations and the union of Resources by the Colombian Air Force and the National Air and Naval Service-SENAN, which will materialize in efforts for security and defense in the region and the hemisphere.
