537 soldiers belonging to the third contingent of 2021, swore flag in Aguachica, Cesar. They were not only prepared militarily, but in the same way to overcome barriers that previously limited them.

At the Instruction, Training and Recurrent training Battalion No.5 of the Fifth Brigade, of the Second Division, 537 soldiers of the different tactical units swore before God and the Homeland, to defend the national tricolor in each of their activities; in addition, 47 of them, in the same way learned to read and write during their training phase.

On this occasion, young people from various parts of the country, even belonging to indigenous communities in the Upper Guajira, found in their commanders the support and appropriate teachers to overcome one of the limitations that, due to lack of opportunity, they had not been able to complete.

Once they have completed the instructions of the day, under his own conviction, and with the patience of his colleagues, began classes in reading and writing until today, after four months of military training, they can in the same way feel the pride and satisfaction of being men of high value, they now have much more to contribute to their lives and to the country.

Under these guidelines our heroes are trained; they are young people who find in their National Army an opportunity to improve themselves, change their lives and improve their future, being brave men, comprehensively trained for the fulfillment of the mission.
