Two thousand families benefited from this work.
Troops of the Fourteen Brigade, carried out an important activity in favor of the well-being of the civilians of this municipality.
After coordinating with the Mayor's Office, the Military Engineers arrived in the Galán neighborhood, in the municipality of Puerto Boyacá, to carry out an operation to adapt, maintain and beautify six hectares known as the old dump.
The soldiers, for eight days, carried out the removal of debris, weeds and garbage that generated a source of contamination in the sector.
With this activity it was possible to benefit about 2,000 families, who were being harmed by bad smells, rodents and robberies in that sector, since being a place full of weeds led unscrupulous people to attack the security and tranquility of the inhabitants who passed through there.
The community in general thanked the soldiers for the recovery of this space, a place that could become a recreation site for their children.
