This operation was carried out in response to early warning 004 of 2020, issued by the Ombudsman's Office.
As a result of an inter-institutional operation with the Attorney General's Office, troops of the National Army neutralize four alleged members of the residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, Structure 18, in Ituango, north of Antioquia.
The action occurred in the area of the municipality of La Perla, in this municipality. Members of the Military Forces arrived there and two suspected members of this criminal structure were neutralized during military operations, one more was arrested and another voluntarily surrendered to justice.
Troops in the same way found three rifles, magazines and more than 500 units of ammunition of different calibers, as well as materials of military accessories and communications.
