Air Combat Command No.1 led the transit and subsequent air transfer, by means of a civil aircraft ambulance, of a 61-year-old patient with serious health conditions derived of the COVID-19, who was being assisted at the San Félix de la Dorada Hospital, in Caldas.
The medical institution requested permission of the Palanquero Air Base, in order to obtain the entry of the aircraft and collect the patient, achieving his timely and emergency transfer to the city of Neiva where he would be assisted in a specialized medical center.
