In order to help the most vulnerable elderly inhabitants in the department of Vichada, the Colombian Air Force transported 2.5 tons of food kits of the Colombia Está Contigo (Colombia is With You) Campaign, to the municipalities of Cumaribo and Santa Rosalía.
The aid was transported under strict sanitary protocols and biosecurity measures, established for all Colombian Air Force flights, deploying its crews to Puerto Carreño, where more than 134 boxes were received by military personnel.
The cargo included non-perishable food and essential items that will help to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. This mission is another one out of multiple humanitarian flights with which the most vulnerable inhabitants in this area of the country have been benefited.
