At the premises of the Infantry Battalion No.17 General José Domingo Caicedo, in the municipality of Chaparral, Tolima, a meeting was held. Members of the Air Combat Command No.4, of the Colombian Air Force; The Comprehensive Action Battalion No.5 of the National Army and the Fe in Colombia program in, in order to present the work plan to continue supporting vulnerable communities and sectors in this region of the country.
The most effective proposal is the implementation of the Mi Barrio Modelo project, an initiative that aims to benefit vulnerable neighborhoods of the municipality that have different needs and social problems, working hand in hand with communities, led by their community action board presidents and community leaders.
The planned activities in the same way benefited the children of the only school in Marquetalia, Tolima, through the adaptation of the school, encouraging more children to attend and receive classes once the pandemic generated by the spread of the virus COVID – 19 ends.
