The Colombian Navy, with the objective of continuing to sustainably and unconditionally support the most vulnerable communities during the pandemic caused by COVID19, carried out, in coordination with the mayor's Office of San Antero, Cordoba, and the ODC Foundation, the distribution of humanitarian aid that benefited 487 families.
The crew members of the Navy Infantry Training Base and the Navy Infantry Battalion No. 14, reached the hamlets Grau, Parilla1, Parilla 2, Bijaito and Punta Bolívar, to distribute food baskets and kits with elements of personal protection including facemasks, antibacterial gel, liquid soap and antiseptic alcohol.
This operation, which helps to bring the unifiedoperation of the State in a sustained manner to the citizens during this national contingency, takes place thanks to the inter-agency work being carried out by the Colombian Navy with governmental, private and non-profit organizations.
