495 gallons of chopped coca leaf and 60 of gasoline are part of the liquid precursors found within these structures.
Within the framework of the Heroes of Freedom campaign plan, troops of the Vulcano Task Force, in the rural area of the municipality of Sardinata, Norte de Santander, managed to find two laboratories for the production of illicit substances, which would belong to the GAO, Eln and GAO residual Structure 33.
In the first operation carried out in the Parcelas hamlet, men belonging to the Ground Operations Battalion No.9, found a coca base paste production laboratory, in which members of GAO-r 33 stored 330 gallons of chopped coca leaf, 60 gallons of gasoline, 25 kilos of lime and 5 metal barrels.
In other operations, carried out by the same military unit, in the rural area of La Garita, Las Mercedes municipality, in Sardinata, a second laboratory for the production of illicit substances was found, where 165 gallons of chopped coca leaf, 50 kilos of fertilizer and four plastic barrels were found.
The inhabitants are invited to report any suspicious act that threatens the good physical condition of the community through the 147 telephone line.
