The Colombian Navy, jointly and in coordination with the National Army and the National Police, in support of the Guanía Governorate, the Risk Management office and the departmental Health Secretariat, distributed 3,419 food baskets, benefiting approximately 12,000 low-income people in communities that live in the urban area of the municipality of Inírida, in the department of Guainía.
This activity carried out by the Naval Force of the East, launched all the logistical capacity and human talent to pack, transport and distribute this aid to the most vulnerable communities in the region.
The community thanked the Colombian Navy for this activity, which was carried out by adopting strict security measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in the Colombian East.
