The Air Combat Command No. 4, CACOM 4, continues to work to carry a message of tranquility and security to the most vulnerable inhabitants of the country, as well as to families who, due to the current situation of the Covid-19 pandemic, have no opportunities to go out to work to bring something home.
With the support of the Professional officers of the Reserve, the pertinent tasks have been carried out so that companies in the commercial sector, whether private or public, join the different social responsibility campaigns led by the Colombian Air Force.
Thus, Mercacentro de Ibagué Supermarkets, in the department of Tolima, donated 53 food baskets with basic products of the family basket, with which they will benefit low-income families in Gaitania, municipality of Planadas, in Tolima.
Thanks to this valuable contribution, food baskets will be distributed in the coming days, by the staff of this Air Unit.
Carrying out joint work with the different economic sectors of the country has benefited those who need it most. That is why the Air Force will continue to strengthen ties of communication and cooperation, in order to bring a support to each Colombian family in the midst of the crisis.
