104 members of the FARC dissidents in Catatumbo, have been given to justice during the military operation; abundant war material and explosives have been found by troops.
Within the framework of the operations conducted in the rural area of the municipality of Tib煤, troops of Colombian National Army found abundant war materiel, including: 55 long weapons, 02 machineguns, 01 sniper rifle, 25 pistols, 80 mortar rounds, a ton of explosives, 300 anti-personnel mines, 20,327 ammunition of different calibers and abundant military accessories and communications material.
Within the framework of this military operation and due to the pressure of the troops, it was possible for 104 members of the Residual Organized Armed Group, Magdalena Medio Bloc, Structure 33, to surrender to justice, including 20 minors, who initiated the route for the restoration of their rights.
The above shows that these structures continue to generate anxiety and fear among the inhabitants, through the forced recruitment of children and adolescents.
With the finding of this war material and the surrender to justice of more than a hundred members of this group outlaw, the criminal operations of the dissidents are considerably hit and leads to a decrease in confrontations of these groups outlaw that indiscriminately beat the inhabitants.
We will not allow these structures to continue damaging the security and progress of this region.
