Thanks to a complete inter-institutional services that provided specialized and free health services, citizens were benefited by participating in a medical and humanitarian assistance activity carried out in the department of Valle del Cauca by the Colombian Aerospace Force, which had the invaluable support of the Professional Officers of the Reserve of the Air Combat Command No. 7, the Mayor's Office of Cali, Asoca帽a, the Minuto de Dios Foundation and the members of the Military Forces.
This great initiative was carried out at the facilities of the San Joaqu铆n II Parish College, in the village of El Hormiguero in the City of Santiago de Cali, where it was possible to work to provide 3,649 services to these people, mostly made up of people of African descent in areas such as general medicine, pediatrics, dentistry, gynecology, psychology and physical therapy, in addition to vaccination services, preventive examinations and mental health programs.
During this event, five wheelchairs were in the same way given to people with physical limitations, improving their quality of life. In the same way, new cases were identified through this vulnerable through community leaders, which is why in the coming days these people will receive this support.
The attendees in the same way participated in recreational activities, instructions on health and rights, assistance to social leaders and support to local enterprises, benefiting 632 people and distributing 4,925 presents.
The Colombian Aerospace Force reaffirms its commitment to the well-being of the communities of the southwest of the country, through social responsibility operations that promote health, development and inclusion.
